All I See, Kylie Minogue's new video



While her new video clip, All I See, has just been released, Kylie Minogue told the May issue of German Vogue that while she sometimes dreams of starting a family, it might not be "the right path" for her: "I never had the feeling of a conventional marriage with a terraced house in the suburbs," she said. The pop icon is turning 40 next month and said she wasn't worried by her pending birthday, which she will spend with a small circle of friends before taking to the stage the next day for her anything-but-ageing performances. Kylie Minogue has been named Best International Female Solo Artist at the annual Brit awards in London. "I'm all overcome. This is incredible," the Australian pop princess told the crowd as she collected her award. Minogue was presented with her award by Doctor Who star David Tennant, with whom she kissed in the Doctor Who Christmas special, Voyage of the Damned. The two got up close and personal again as Tennant lifted the diminutive star up as she accepted her award on stage. Kylie Minogue is to tour Europe with a brand new show in 2008, inspired by her new album X. "I am putting together a show that is going to be a new and exciting experience for both the audience and myself. The eclectic mix of sounds on X is affording me an opportunity to explore and develop a new live show that will be fresh, exhilarating and innovative. After two celebratory tours, X will be a look to the future but will definitely include favourites alongside the new. I can't wait to share it with you," says the singer. KYLIEX2008 tour opens in Paris on May 6 and progresses throughout Europe, reaching the UK on June 26 when she plays at Belfast's Odyssey. The tour then continues with dates in Glasgow, Manchester and London, concluding at London's 02 Arena.

Minogue & McKellen on British Honours List



The British New Year Honours List for 2008 has now been released. This is the first Honours List recommended by Prime Minister Gordon Brown to reflect and pay tribute to outstanding achievement and service across the entire community. Anyone can receive an award if they reach the required standard of merit or service, and honours list contain a wide variety of people from different backgrounds.
This year, among 834 selected candidates, Sir Ian Murray McKellen is to become Member of the Order of the Companions of Honour for services to Drama and to Equality and Ms Kylie Ann Minogue is to become Ordinary Officers of the Civil Division of the said Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for services to Music. "I feel deeply touched to be acknowledged by the UK, my adopted home, in this way," she said from her family home in Melbourne. "This last year I have felt so much love and support from everyone as I took greater steps back into the public domain, and it is with absolute gratitude and joy that I say farewell to 2007 and look forward to what the New Year will bring." Sir Ian McKellen joins the exclusive Order of the Companions of Honour, which is restricted to just 65 members alongside the Queen. "I am honoured to join an order which includes such distinguished practitioners in the arts," the 68-year-old actor and gay rights campaigner said. "It is particularly pleasing that 'equality' is included in my citation."

The Doctor will share a passionate moment with his Christmas companion, Astrid Peth, in the long awaited Doctor Who Christmas special, Voyage Of The Damned, starring David Tennant and Kylie Minogue. The Doctor wastes no time in getting acquainted with Kylie's Astrid in the episode, which goes out at 6.50pm Today on BBC One. "It is an incredible thrill to be joining David and the entire Doctor Who production for this year's Christmas special," said Kylie. "Doctor Who enjoys a unique history and it is going to be very exciting to be a part of that." Kylie's White Diamond Documentary



On October 16th and for one night only, Vue Cinemas are giving Kylie Minogue fans the chance to see an exclusive premiere screening of her new film, White Diamond directed and produced by William Baker, in association with EMI and Terry Blamey Management.
White Diamond gives fans the unique chance to see Kylie's triumphant return to the world stage with her 2006 Showgirl Homecoming Tour. The film shows Kylie as never before with intimate close up back stage footage and interviews. The film will be premiered at the Vue West End, Leicester Square on October 16th (more info here), with a DVD release planned for December.
