EATING OUT 2: SLOPPY SECONDS
In the first Eating Out, Kyle (Jim Verraros) convinced his straight roommate to pretend to be gay in order to get the girl. Now, with the help of Gwen (Emily Brooke Hands) and Tiffani (Rebekah Kochan), Kyle pretends to be heterosexual in order to land Troy (Marco Dapper), the new guy (and nude model) who's turning the heads of both men and women. He soon finds himself joining the campus ex-gay support group and nabbing a girlfriend (Tiffany)! Kyle's ex-boyfriend Marc (Brett Chukerman) is horrified at the plan and decides to pursue the confused Troy with his own tactic... Available on DVD

Marco Dapper makes Frontiers magazine cover. The 23 year old actor is promoting "Eating Out 2, Sloppy seconds" U.S. release. (see previous post and pictures here and here )
Interviewed by Greg Hernandez about how the film affected his view on gays, Marco Dapper answered: "It was actually a real eye-opener for me. I wasn’t involved in the gay community at all. I wasn’t homophobic—I used to go to the Castro District for Halloween—but it was a touchy subject. I didn’t really know many gay people at all except for a few teachers. But I stated talking to the cast and getting to know everyone, and it opened my eyes to what the community is."

About how he enjoyed gay scenes, Dapper said: "I’m not gay and I don’t have tendencies, but I do make it believable. I’ve had guys say, “You’re gay, right? You looked like you were enjoying it.” I try to act and have the audience buy that. I learn the lines then throw them away so I can live in the moment, take in other people. I want to live in the moment and go off the other character." Concerning his now famous full-frontal scene, Marco Dapper said he didn't feel self conscious: "I am who I am. I think everyone should have confidence. I didn’t lose sleep over it."

"I wanted to take the idea of people lying about their sexuality to the most logical and humorous conclusion," said Phillip J. Bartell, the director and co-writer of "Eating Out 2: Sloppy Seconds," about his sequel to Q. Allan Brocka's comedy hit from 2004.



This new film is more logical and funnier-and perhaps even sexier-than the first film because instead of a straight guy pretending to be gay to get the woman he wants, in this film, it is Kyle (Jim Verraros) who tries to act straight to get Troy (Marco Dapper, pictures above) the sexually ambiguous hunk of his dreams, says Gay City News.
