Among the dozens of professionals and technicians who gave their time and talents to create these ads are Margaret Cho, Molly Ringwald and Jonah Markowitz, director of the successful gay movie Shelter. Breakfast With Scot in theaters



Breakfast With Scot tells the story of Eric (Tom Cavanagh), he’s managed to turn his stint as an ex- Toronto Maple Leaf into a full-time gig as commentator for sports TV. He and his partner Sam (Ben Shenkman), a lawyer, live discreetly on a tree-lined street in Toronto. All their tranquility is disrupted when they receive news that Sam's brother Billy’s ex-girlfriend has died, leaving custody of her son Scot (Noah Bernett) to Billy. But adventure-seeking Billy is somewhere in South America, and that leaves Scot without a guardian. Much to Eric’s disapproval, Sam agrees to take Scot in. Enter Scot, budding queen of an 11 year old, who is Eric’s mirror opposite. Dressed in vibrant colors, his mother’s charm bracelet and with a penchant for musicals and Christmas carols, he’s not quite the ‘boy’ they expected. Officially sanctioned by the NHL and the Toronto Maple Leafs, Breakfast With Scot represents the first time a professional sports league has allowed their logo and uniforms to be used in a gay-themed movie. here! TV is to premiere Holding Trevor, a film by Rosser Goodman, on Oct 3rd. Trevor (Brent Gorski, also the writer and executive producer) has just witnessed his boyfriend Darrell (Christopher Wyllie) overdose on heroin again. As his oldest friend, Trevor feels a responsibility to help Darrell in his latest attempt at sobriety, much to the dismay of his own best friends Jake (Jay Brannan) and Andie (Melissa Searing). When Darrell starts using again, Trevor is finally ready to call it quits. And just when he does, he meets the ever so charming Ephram (Eli Kranski). Simply being everything that Darrell is not, immediately wins Ephram a number of points. Shelter premieres exclusively on here! Networks today, Friday April 18.
