Here! premieres the David Decoteau film, House of Usher, today Friday, May 9th. The film centers on Victor Reynolds (Michael Cardelle, As the World Turns) who receives a desperate letter from his childhood friend and first love, Roderick Usher (Frank Mentier, Days of our Lives). Roderick, a notorious recluse, has not left the grounds of his hilltop mansion in many years. He is in bad health and he needs Victor’s love and care to survive. Shelter premieres on here! TV Today



Shelter premieres exclusively on here! Networks today, Friday April 18. Winner of numerous awards including Best Feature, Best Actor, and Best New Director in over 10 Film Festivals, Shelter is the accomplished, romantic debut from talented writer/director Jonah Markowitz, marking the first project to be developed and produced by here! Films’ Independent Film Initiative (see more posts about here!). Shelter centers on Zach (Trevor Wright), a southern California surfer who gives up his dreams of art school, and neglects his own needs, to help take care of his older sister, Jeanne (Tina Holmes) and his nephew, Cody (Jackson Wurth). When his best friend’s older brother, Shaun (Brad Rowe, Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss), returns home, Shaun and Zach develop a friendship that turns into a true, intimate relationship. Shelter by Jonah Markowitz



Shelter centers on a young man, Zach (Trevor Wright), in San Pedro, Calif., who gives up on his dream of art school in order to provide for his family, consisting of his aging father and his young nephew Cody, whose mother Jeanne (Tina Holmes) has decided her priorities lie elsewhere. When his best friend’s brother Shaun (Brad Rowe) returns to town, Zach finds in him a friend and confidante. As Zach becomes increasingly attracted to Shaun, their casual surfing relationship turns into much more, setting off a chain of events forcing Zach to choose between continuing to put others first or fighting for what he wants for himself. Dante's Cove Season 3 on here!



Dante's Cove Season 3 is airing on here! TV. This third season sees more new additions to the Dante's Cove cast, Jensen Atwood (Griffen, an Emmisary of the Tresum Council), Jill Bennett (Michelle), Jenny Shimizu (Elena, an antiquarian who is involved with Brit), Reichen Lehmkuhl (Trevor, a love interest for Adam).



The new season starts when Toby awakens from a nightmare vision of Van's apparent death. It is six months later and Kevin is living with Ambrosius. Bro is now a silent partner with Marco, having invested money to rebuild H2Eau, which was washed away in a tsunami that leveled the leeward side of the Cove. Brit is now seeing an antiquarian named Elena and studying the chaotic tidal patterns around the Cove. Kevin finally gets to see Toby away from Bro at the bar. Kevin claims to be happy with Bro... A third season of six one-hour episodes of Dante's Cove has been filmed and is currently in post-production. New actors such as Jensen Atwood, Jill Bennett and Reichen Lehmkuhl have been added to the cast of this gothic supernatural soap. Now, six Out Gay and Lesbian actors will star in the show. Jacob Keane, gay action hero



here! TV, America’s premium gay television network, has announced the wrap of production on Kiss Me Deadly: A Jacob Keane Assignment, the first in a franchise of spy films featuring an openly gay action hero. Kiss Me Deadly stars Queer as Folk alum Robert Gant and television icon Shannen Doherty (picture above). The film, directed by Ron Oliver and written by George Schenck and Frank Cardea, shot in New Zealand last month.
Jacob Keane (Gant) is a photographer living the family life in Milan with his loving boyfriend, Paolo, and Julia, the daughter he shares with his lesbian friend, Kyra. When a young woman, Marta (Doherty), arrives from his past life, he is pulled back into the high-stakes world of international espionage. Together they must elude a mysterious enemy threatening to disrupt their now-quiet lives. Out actor Ian Roberts (Superman Returns) co-stars as the villainous Vigo, while John Rhys-Davies (Lord of the Rings trilogy) plays the heroic Yale, a former colleague of Jacob and Marta.

The Lair, on here! TV this month



In a small island town, the bodies of young nameless men are turning up dead with grisly wounds to their necks. A young journalist named Thom is investigating the mysterious John Doe Murders. Narrated by aspiring journalist, Chadwick Williams, as he pursues research while authoring a book about MSM (Men who Sleep with Men) aka "The Down Low," we enter into a provocative and intriguing world of sexual discovery, denial, betrayal, love and loss. The DL, "Down Low", is a slang term sometimes used to refer to African-American men who identify as being straight, but secretly engage in sexual activity with men. They date women, have children, and often marry in an effort to appear heterosexual to the public.
