Heinz Mayo Ad withdrawn for being Gay

A new Heinz mayonnaise TV commercial showing two men kissing has been withdrawn after more than 200 complaints in the UK, this is London reports. The ad was launched a week ago for five weeks. It shows a family scene with a young boy and girl getting ready to go to school refering to a man, dressed like a delicatessen worker and with a New York accent making sandwiches in the kitchen, as "mum". Viewers said it was "offensive", "inappropriate" and "unsuitable to be seen by children", while some parents were angry that they had been forced to explain same-sex relationships to their youngsters who asked them about the ad. Nigel Dickie, of Heinz UK, said: "The advertisement, part of a short-run campaign, was intended to be humorous and we apologise to anyone who felt offended." Watch the ad...

The Colbert Report on Gay Marriage

Stephen Colbert spoke with Tony Perkins, conservative Christian president of the Family Research Council about the California Supreme Court ruling to legalize gay marriage. Colbert said: "I think it would really be much better for the anti-gay-marriage side if they obeyed everything in the Bible, not just the anti-gay-marriage part." He then asked: "Where did Jesus talk about gay people?... Cause I keep on looking for that so I could win some arguments." Watch a video...

Little Britain in the U.S.

Little Britain star David Walliams feels the strong arm of the law, as transvestite Emily Howard is "arrested". David's cross-dressing character - famous for her "I'm a laydee" catchphrase - is manhandled by his sidekick Matt Lucas, and a hunky US cop for shoplifting in new pictures from the US version of the show. The Emmy and Bafta-winning sketch show has been snapped up by American television giants HBO in a big ticket move to US screens. Walliams and Lucas started filming in North Carolina last month and are apparently looking for an American film star to play the role of a comedy US president. Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney is rumoured to be their first choice. The six new US backed episodes will be screened in Britain by the BBC.

Jimmy Kimmel is F***ing Ben Affleck

Shortly after comedian Sarah Silverman released a video in which she sings about a "sexual relationship" with actor Matt Damon, her longtime partner Jimmy Kimmel aired his own video Sunday night. Last night, during Kimmel’s post-Oscar late-night show Jimmy Kimmel Live, he got his video revenge on ABC, along with his guest, actor Ben Affleck, who is the star of his video. Kimmel said on his show that his video is in response to Silverman's video, "I'm F***ing Matt Damon." In Kimmel's video, "I'm F***ing Ben Affleck", he softly strums his guitar and says he is "happy" for Silverman and Damon. Then he drops his bomb. Both videos star the actors, but unlike Silverman's video, Kimmel's also features a slew of other celebrities. Among the celebrities are actors Harrison Ford, Brad Pitt, Don Cheadle and Cameron Diaz, as well as rockers Joan Jett, Perry Ferrell and Pete Wentz from Chicago's Fall Out Boy. Watch the video...
